An academic publishing platform for trustworthy AI research

ENIGMA.IST is an open-access academic publishing and research-collaboration platform. We host peer-reviewed scientific journals, organise international conferences, and run a global researcher community under the umbrella of the International AI Committee (IAIC).

The Platform is operated by IAIC AI RESEARCH & TRADING - FZCO, a free-zone company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates under the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (IFZA), Dubai Silicon Oasis. We are the legal entity behind the enigma.ist, iaic.world, mathai.club and smartcity.today properties.

What we do

The Platform supports the full academic-publishing workflow: manuscript submission, peer review, editorial decision-making, professional copy-editing, indexing (DOI via Crossref), and open-access distribution. We currently operate three flagship open-access journals:

Membership

The International AI Committee (IAIC) is the governance body for the Platform’s journals and conferences. Researchers and academic institutions can join as members at multiple tiers, gaining access to closed seminars, voting rights in editorial decisions, and discounted rates on conferences and publication fees.

Our team and global community

The IAIC committee includes 25+ researchers from Russia, China, India, the United States, France, South Africa, and the UAE — covering mathematics, applied AI, statistics, philosophy of science, and policy. The Platform is operated from Dubai, with research collaborations across four continents.

Technology

The Platform is built on a modern web stack (Laravel, PostgreSQL, Redis), hosted on Hetzner Online (Germany) infrastructure with TLS/HTTPS throughout. Article integrity is supported by content hashing and time-stamping; long-term preservation includes export to standard formats (PDF, JATS XML) and DOI-based indexing.

We believe scientific knowledge should be open, verifiable, and globally accessible — not locked behind paywalls or controlled by any single publisher. Our mission is to make peer-reviewed AI research credible, fast, and affordable for researchers worldwide.
